About Us
Who is LBR Insight?
LBR Insight is a boutique market research firm that helps organizations understand people on a deeper level—what they think, feel, and do—so brands can make smarter decisions. We blend psychology and strategic insight to uncover what truly drives behavior. Our passion is in learning about our clients’ consumers and delivering insights that will move their strategic priorities forward.
Our Services
What types of research do you offer?
We specialize in both qualitative and quantitative research including in-depth interviews, focus groups, ethnographies, co-creation sessions, online communities, digital diaries, and surveys. We tailor each approach to your specific goals.
Do you offer quantitative research as well as qualitative?
Yes. While our roots are in qualitative research, we also conduct standalone quantitative or mixed methodology studies when it helps answer your business questions.
How do you work with creative or brand agencies?
We’re often an extension of agency teams—helping validate strategy, refine messaging, or stress-test creative ideas with target audiences. Whether it’s a pitch, a campaign in development, or a brand refresh, we bring the voice of the customer into the process.
At the same time, our work remains completely unbiased. We ground ourselves in the strategic or creative brief and focus on the business question at hand—not the preferences of the agency—so the insights always serve the clients’ true objectives.
What industries do you work with?
We partner with organizations across healthcare, food and restaurant brands, retail, travel, hospitality, wellness, and more. Our experience spans global enterprise brands and more nimble organizations, but our approach is always the same: grounded in client needs and customer insights, no matter the industry or company size.
Do you work with patients and health care professionals?
Yes. We have deep experience engaging patients, caregivers, physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, and other healthcare professionals across a wide range of therapeutic areas—from GI and mental health to rare and genetic conditions and many more in between. We’re also well-versed in the regulatory requirements of healthcare research, including privacy protocols, informed consent, and IRB processes when needed.
Do you work with B2B audiences?
Yes. We regularly engage B2B decision-makers—from C-suite executives and small business owners to healthcare leaders. We tailor our approach to understand what drives their choices —uncovering the rational and emotional factors that shape B2B decisions.
Our Approach
What makes your approach different?
We go beyond surface-level responses. Our human-first approach grounded in empathy allows us to explore the “why” behind attitudes, opinions and behaviors. Clients value our flexibility, our ability to connect with any audience, and our deep analysis that leads to strategic clarity.
What do you mean by “human-first” approach?
“Human-first” means we prioritize people over data points. It’s about going beyond what your audience says to uncover what they feel, believe, and need. We use empathy, curiosity, and deep listening to understand the emotional and behavioral drivers behind decisions—then connect those insights back to your brand, product, or strategy in a meaningful way.
It’s not just research—it’s rapport building that leads to more honest insights and smarter outcomes.
How is the psychologist involved in research projects?
Our psychologist collaborates closely on projects where emotional nuance, vulnerable participants or sensitive topics are key. This can include helping craft discussion guides, advising on participant dynamics, interpreting emotional signals during interviews, and contributing to the analysis to uncover layered motivations.
